Bridget Herbst teaches and demonstrates pastel both in and out of her home. Her figures in Oil have been exhibited in numerous shows including the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club 105th Annual Open Juried Exhibition at the National Arts Club in NYC. Her Pastels have been juried into shows nationwide, including Pastel USA. She became a member of the Degas Pastel Society in 2004 at the invitation of the organization’s Board of Directors and was also juried into Signature Membership of the Connecticut Pastel Society in 2005. Bridget is a Full Member of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club
Ms. Herbst served for six years on the Board of Directors at Kent Art Association where she is an Elected Artist and former Exhibition Chairperson and was also Coordinator for the Franklin Alexander Workshops in Woodstock, NY for seven years. She is currently the Awards Chairperson at CT Pastel Society.
