ET CETERA

Bridget Herbst works in both Pastel and Oil. Paintings in these mediums have been exhibited at the National Arts Club and Salmagundi Club in NYC, the Haggin Museum, CA; Slater Museum, CT and other prestigious venues. Her Pastels have been juried into National Shows including PSWC Pastel USA, CPS Renaissance in Pastel, IAPS and the CLWAC Annual Juried Exhibition, among others.

Bridget served for six years on the Board of Directors at the Kent Art Association in CT where she was an Elected Artist and an Exhibition Chair. She coordinated the Franklin Alexander Workshops in Woodstock, NY, for seven years and was Awards Chair for three years at the CT Pastel Society.

Paint what you love. Know the tools of your medium and they will serve you well. Use your skills every single day and they will multiply exponentially. Most of all, enjoy what you’re doing- even the difficult, frustrating aspects. After all, what could be more fulfilling and exhilarating than being an artist!
