Connecticut Pastel Society - Signature Member The Connecticut Pastel Society is a fine arts organization funded and run by artists and their affiliates intent on increasing awareness of pastel as a fine art medium. Pastel Society of the West Coast - Signature MemberFounded in 1985, the PSWC is one of the largest pastel societies in the US, with members from coast to coast. Each year our International Show, PASTEL USA, has over 600 entries from all over the world and the show has been hosted in such prestigious venues as the Triton Museum in Santa Clara, CA and the San Luis Obispo Art Center. PSWC also sponsors scholarships to high school graduates who will be majoring in art. A National organization to show and promote works by professional woman artists. Founded in 1896. The Degas Pastel Society is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization founded in 1984, dedicated to promoting public awareness of the pastel medium and providing exposure and recognition for the Society's members through exhibitions.
